Rachel Elnar is a creative producer, art director, writer, educator, and digital event leader with more than two decades of experience designing events and communities.

She co-founded Ramp Creative, an award-winning design studio recognized by Communication Arts, Graphis, and the Type Directors Club, and later launched TypeEd, a typography education platform that reached thousands of designers. She has produced events for the Hoffmitz Milken Center for Typography (HMCT), emceed TypeCon, and served as both a board member of AIGA Los Angeles and a current AIGA National Board Member.

While completing her MFA, Rachel managed restaurants—an early training ground in hospitality that later shaped her hosting style and teaching methodologies at Cal State LA, Cal Poly Pomona, and ArtCenter. That blend of hospitality, teaching, and design has shaped her into a leader who creates experiences that feel human and connected.

At Adobe, she produced Creative Jam LIVE, where over 100,000 designers and students participated annually, and later scaled B2B digital programs to global audiences. She also writes and speaks on design, community, and digital events, and co-hosts the Cheers & Tiers podcast. Today, through Together By Design, she continues to create events that don’t just draw an audience—they build a community.
